THOUGHTS OF PINK - BREAST CANCER. Thursday, August 20, 2009. I was talking about Mother's upcoming visit in my last post. Well, she has come and gone. She arrived on August 11 and we were supposed to go to a meeting on Tuesday, but I just didn't feel like it, so we stayed home. We have even eaten out a couple of times. We just don't eat those high-carb sides on the menu. I have been in physical therapy 3 times a week to strengthen my core muscles. SweetTweets Life Plan for improving our world. Sunday I drove back to Va Beach for training as a mentor for membership. It was really nice and when I got home, Ray had brought a roasted chicken dinner for us both from church and I didn't have to cook. We could even eat the chicken and the bean, just had to get rid of the rice. I do not know if this works for everyone, but I find that if I sip black coffee, it seems to dull my appetite.
