thoughts from a jackrabbit: January 2013

http://www.thoughtsfromajackrabbit.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Thoughts from a jackrabbit. Wednesday, January 23, 2013. It continues this way throughout this passage where God says just to do it and as Ezekiel does, we see less questioning because his faith is building as God continues to move in response to Ezekiel's obedience. So here's the rub. How do I respond when I hear a prompting from inside that I know is right, but doesn't seem possible or at the very least is not pleasing to me? Links to this post. thoughts from a jackrabbit: August 2011

http://www.thoughtsfromajackrabbit.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Thoughts from a jackrabbit. Monday, August 29, 2011. Jesus - why bother. Does it really matter that they don't know Jesus. The pat Christian answer would be "Of course it does, because they have no hope of heaven! While this may be a true statement, is Jesus really just assurance that things will be okay just in case something happens and you get sick or are involved in some sort of accident? Christianity is hard, so if all we are waiting for is the "sweet by and by" then I want out! So here's the rub.

Thoughts From a Groom | The Brain Adjusts to Getting Married

Thoughts From a Groom. The Brain Adjusts to Getting Married. October 14, 2012. When Sylvia appeared at the top of the stairs with her father, I’ll admit that I completely lost it. I was not only thrilled to see her, but to finally see the dress that I’d tried so hard to not spoil for myself. Thoughts from a Jesusfreak

Thoughts from a Jesusfreak. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. One of my favorite Christmas songs. I love the song "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" written by Charles Wesley. Though the entire song is great, I think that there are some verses in the song that are often not thought about closely when we are singing it. I have bolded. Some of those verses below. They deal with the Godhood of Jesus, and Jesus saving us from our sins. Hark the herald angels sing. Glory to the newborn King. God and sinners reconciled.
