A glimpse into my life. West Coast Trip 2010. West Coast Trip 2010. West Coast Trip 2010-Day One. So about 11am I finished packing up the truck, hugged Rob and Tanya goodbye and sent all the kids a text saying "I'm Off! I could live here! I meant to take photos but I got caught up in driving and remembering other trips on this same road so no photos, maybe I'll do better tomorrow, maybe not. You'll just have to use your imagination (and a link or two I found). And who knows where else. (Thanks guys!

French Country Style from the Foot of the Rockies: ~~ Changes in the French Country Kitchen ~~
http://bringingfrenchcountryhome.blogspot.com/2016/01/changes-in-french-country-kitchen.html
French Country Style from the Foot of the Rockies. Bringing French Country home no matter where you live. Friday, January 8, 2016. Changes in the French Country Kitchen. My tiny French Country kitchen is still tiny. But I've made a few changes - some big, some small -. That make it more cozy and, well, a little more French. I've always loved the look of a small lamp in the kitchen. The warm glow, the intimate feeling. Probably what it was like back in the day before electricity. How cute is this plate!

December 29, 2011. Ok I have to admit that I have now been hooked by the pinning craze! I have long drug my feet joining in this new fun, inspiring adventure. French Country Style from the Foot of the Rockies: Old Books Tell More than a Story
http://bringingfrenchcountryhome.blogspot.com/2016/03/old-books-tell-more-than-story.html
French Country Style from the Foot of the Rockies. Bringing French Country home no matter where you live. Friday, March 18, 2016. Old Books Tell More than a Story. What is it about old books? It's that intangible quality that speaks of character and history and people from another time. Old books add instant charm and warmth to a room no matter what style it is. People laugh when I tell them I love the way old books smell. Water-stained pages with crumbly edges. Upright or reclining on their sides. And t...

Thoughts from a Jesusfreak
Thoughts from a Jesusfreak. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. One of my favorite Christmas songs. I love the song "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" written by Charles Wesley. Though the entire song is great, I think that there are some verses in the song that are often not thought about closely when we are singing it. I have bolded. Some of those verses below. They deal with the Godhood of Jesus, and Jesus saving us from our sins. Hark the herald angels sing. Glory to the newborn King. God and sinners reconciled.

Thoughts From a Journey
Thoughts From a Journey. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Climbing Out of the Pit. I know how difficult it is to turn your focus away from your own suffering and onto the suffering of others. I know how difficult it can be to stand against depression and refuse to let it overtake you. I know how difficult it can be to look up when the weight you carry is so heavy. But you have to fight. One of my favorite passages from the Bible is out of Exodus:. Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm.

Thoughts from a Lady Brain
Thoughts from a Lady Brain. The splatter of my own musings and curiosities in blog form. Monday, March 30, 2015. Oh how I wish I could write as I did with Bradley. It's a combination of Clark having much shorter middle of the night feeds and also no free time to sit at the computer during the day. Any free time I have is allocated to sleep, showering, television, paper books, or chores (in that order usually). And asking how he's feeling. It melts me. Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
