The Schwenk Chronicles: December 2007
http://theschwenkchronicles.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
A story about the life we've been given. Monday, December 24, 2007. I can hardly believe how long it has been since the last posting. Life is truly never dull around the Schwenk. This year has been filled with lots of great memories, stories and blessings. It started with Ryan's family coming to see us in March! We drove to Schwenksville. PA (Yes, it does exist) to see the heritage of the Schwenk. We had a blast and wish the trip could have been longer! Tradition of attending OSU. Love - Ryan and Andra.
Paint the Day: April 2008
http://crystalamiller.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Mere Snapshots from my heart. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Today I pushed myself to the ultimate limits as a participant in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. A group of my close friends and myself formed a relay team and after a lot of hard work and pain we pushed through to finish in 4 hours and 22 minutes! An extra bonus was when we all went out for a big BURGER at Irma’s to celebrate. Pretty sure I haven’t tasted such a yummy burger in a long time! I was proud to be a member of your team! Today is a day...

Mere Snapshots from my heart. Monday, January 18, 2010. Love for Haiti Part 2. This photo belongs to the Livesay family and was copied from their blog (http:/ livesayhaiti.blogspot.com/). I feel so blessed to be a part of a community who gives with such generosity and with sacrifice! I will leave you with these beautifully, eloquent words of theologian AL Mohler. Thank you for all the ways you have already helped- may God increase our efforts and giving a thousand-fold! Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Oh, m...

Mere Snapshots from my heart. Thursday, March 27, 2008. High Hopes for my future in music- except not really. So now…. I’ve had this crazy hair to learn the piano. Yes- you’d think I would have given up on my dream to play an instrument, but call me stubborn, or just plain unrealistic, because I will try yet again. Some just have the skillz, while others simply try to pretend. I’ll keep ya posted on my progress, but don’t get too excited, I’m keeping my expectations low this time. California- Here we come.

The Schwenk Chronicles: July 2008
http://theschwenkchronicles.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
A story about the life we've been given. Monday, July 7, 2008. One month and growing. This last week we turned 1 month old! It is hard to believe how fast my time off is flying by. Grayson weighed 7 lbs. 10.5 oz at his two week appointment. So, we are somewhere in the 8 lbs. range now. However, we still can not fit into our 0-3 month clothes. As you can see they are just a little too big! Posted by The Schwenk Chronicles. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ryan, Andra, Grayson and Garner. People in the know.
Mile Marker 114: May 2008

Monday, May 26, 2008. Fly Fishing in the Snow. The only thing that kept us warm was the fact that we were catching fish like crazy. It was a good first day, I ended up catching about 20 nice trout by 1pm and Tom tripled me and caught about 60 or so, (the guy is good). I continued to fish the same hole for another 10 minutes and pulled out another 5 fish, all good size fish. It was amazing, and it was worth getting up at 5:45 both days. Crystal and I at the river. Monday, March 31, 2008. Before and After Pt. 1. This is not something off of "Extreme Home Makeover," but over the past year or so we have done quite a bit work to the outside of our house, so I wanted to share some pictures with you. I am an idiot and forgot to take an actual "before" picture, but I found this picture of our house in 2002, so it works. Our house in 2002. Another view of the garden. Hope you enjoy the pics. A story about the life we've been given. Monday, March 3, 2008. So, my birthday was over a month ago. Can you tell I am a little behind in my postings? Oh, well. I still wanted to share! Ryan surprised me on my birthday with flowers, amazing sugar cookies and a bowl full of cherries! It was perfect and extremely yummy! I will always prefer an awesome sugar cookie or cake over chocolate any day! Posted by The Schwenk Chronicles. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ryan, Andra, Grayson and Garner.

My thoughts while reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It’s the snowball effect, am I right? 8230; It’s one thing on top of another. It’s too much, isn’t it? It’s too hard. 8221; -page 273, Thirteen Reasons Why. Snowball effect: I think the snowball effect represents Hannah’s problems and self-confidence. When her problems got too big, she decided to give up. Her self-confidence deflated, and she no longer had any reason to live. Page 81, Thirteen Reasons Why. Comments : Leave a Comment. Has been c...

Reviews of Thriller/Suspense books and their film adaptations. The Da Vinci Code Directed By Ron Howard. August 11, 2013. I will be approaching my review for the film version of The Da Vinci Code. Back story is reduced to such an incoherent flashback that unless you read the novel you would have no idea what said flashback is getting at. As a result Silas. Thoughts on Tiger
Friday, March 4, 2011. Thoughts on Tiger. With no wins and yet another disappointment this past weekend, fans all over the planet are asking themselves, "Why? Why is this taking so long? How come these swing changes are not clicking? He is the best player to ever step onto the tee! The questions as to why and how are irrelevant. The proper and most logical discussion should be this: "Does Tiger, after all he has caused and been through still believe in himself? Now he's not so convinced of that anymore&#...
