Threads from the Tapestry of Mommahood. Memorializing special moments with my children and lessons along the way of mommahood. Thursday, October 13, 2011. This pic was before the endless weeks of 100 summer heat here in Dallas. It was before my dear plants all died on the porch. Si was learning hands on how to take care of plants. He watered, pruned and admired our plants. I loved sharing my passion for gardening with Silas. A sweet memory for me. Posted by Yvonne Bohaker. Dallas, TX, United States.

Threads from the Tapestry of Mommahood. Memorializing special moments with my children and lessons along the way of mommahood. Friday, April 8, 2011. Today I reread a year old note that I wrote when my son, Silas, turned 6 months old. It is my inspiration for this blog. I long to memorialize precious moments with my children and lessons that I learn along the way as a parent. I hope that one day these will hold some value to my children as they will see the inner heart of their momma. And I, the underside.

Mommyhood & Matrimony...: February 2010
http://mommyhoodandmatrimony.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Books We're Currently Reading. Shelfari: Book reviews on your book blog. Monday, February 22, 2010. Spring Cleaning. In February? The warmth of the sun is a powerful thing. It has been beautiful for nearly a week now and I am LOVING it! While they were away, I cleaned the window, painted the trim and shined the sink. Sounds like a lot, but really it took about ten minutes. Now, as I watch the afternoon sun flooding in, it is clean and refreshing! Karalee watched them as she played on the deck after her nap.

Threads From My Sewing Room
Threads From My Sewing Room. Wednesday, 25 March 2015. Blue Eyes' and Blue Skirts. Well, Turquoise and Pink skirts actually if we're going to get specific, but that seemed far less punchy as a title! When Jazz and I met up to discuss the skirt, the first brief was that the skirt had to be big. I don't mean matronly, or fit for a giant, I mean.triangular! Something I had never tackled before (of course! Yeah, that would be because I totally messed this up the first time and cut it to be the waist measurem...
