Gaining an understanding of the issues of resource depletion and sustainability is the crucial first step to seeing how issues we face in society affect us on an individual level. To make decisions and commit to change, it is essential to have an understanding of why this change is desired to inflict the necessary motivation. COMPONENT 2 - Individual Experience (the how).

A major outcome of my experience with the 100 DAYS WITHOUT OIL. Project during my Master of Sustainable Design thesis was a collaboration with an Environmental Public Policy student to co-found a community-action project called the THREEACTIONS PROJECT. The threeACTIONS Project was developed over the course of a year and a half and continues to be built upon. The ‘pilot’ program of the project began in July 2012 and concludes in mid-October.
