http://moviemonstars.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2015. First appearance: Dawn of the Dead (1978). A group of people flee the city during the early days of the zombie apocalypse. They find themselves at an abandoned mall and decide to make that their home. Eventually they find that sometimes the worst thing about being a survivor or the zombie apocalypse is being a survivor of the zombie apocalypse. Fortunately they're reminded that there are worse things. Namely motorcycle gangs. Links to this post. Dawn of the dead. Birnblatt DVD re...

Andrew Barr's Monstars: February 2015
http://moviemonstars.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. First appearance: Burial Ground (1980). An archeologist does something somewhere while digging and then there's zombies. Three other couples, one of which brings their creepy "Kid", Michael (played by then 26-year-old Peter Bark) to the house the archeologist stayed and they get attacked by the zombies. Supposedly there's some kinda prophesy foretelling this or something. Links to this post. Friday, February 13, 2015. Is it one of the other troubled teens? Links to this post.

http://moviemonstars.blogspot.com/2015/06/bene.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. First appearance: I am a Knife With Legs (2015). Someone has declared a fatwa on international pop star Bené. This is the story of how Bené deals with waiting for death to claim him. One of the funniest movies I've seen in a really long time. If you get a chance to see it, see it. I am a knife with legs. http://moviemonstars.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. First appearance: Scanners (1981). Turns out there's a real weird birth defect associated with the old analgesic Ephemerol. Psychic powers! Can former bum and troubled Scanner, Cameron Vale, help ConSec stop Revok from creating an army of fellow Scanners? Most people know it as "That movie with the exploding head.". I think it might be my favourite Cronenberg movie. Links to this post. Thursday, July 17, 2014. Links to this post. Monday, July 14, 2014. Turns out Charley is right.
