Trying to get one. Monday, April 29, 2013. Monday snapshot: Four beers. Out of respect for his point of view, I've been abstaining totally (and only sometimes rather sulkily), apart from my prescribed anti-reflux medication, which I recently noticed contains 5% alcohol by volume. (So. Why it's slip-of-the-tongue-temptingly called Alucol! Why I'm so happy to swallow a spoonful or two after dinner as if it were a. But, you know, we're getting there. Baby's almost baked. Bébé Suisse: Negative.
http://bebesuisse.blogspot.com/2013/09/negative.html
Trying to get one. Thursday, September 05, 2013. Today baby is exactly three months old. Which is both true, and not. She was created exactly one year ago from today, not that we knew that at the time. And even if we had, we could not have imagined the sheer joy that we would feel these twelve months later. This stick was negative, which was exactly what I'd expected. But for the first time ever, there was no emotion in seeing just one single line. In the past I had always felt. Elizabeth : Bébé Suisse.

Bébé Suisse: May 2013
http://bebesuisse.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Trying to get one. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. The answer is "no.". As in, "no, I haven't had that baby yet." But even without little one yet in arms, this two-hundred-and-eightieth day is a heck of a lot better than the last one. This day began with the forty-week appointment at the hospital. There is no sign of impending labor, but all is well for the moment. Unless there's reason to cancel (like a 3.6-kilograms-and-growing reason), we'll go back for a post-term check-up next Wednesday. Though, does it?

Bébé Suisse: December 2012
http://bebesuisse.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Trying to get one. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. If you see the unopened box of decorations still sitting in the same place as it was three weeks ago, the cheap advent calendar proffering (admittedly) almost-inedible treats that a certain Swiss chocolate snob abandoned on its fifth day, and the once-proudly blooming poinsettia on the entryway table. Which now looks like this:. Gilles, yesterday: "Do you think it's dead? Every time I toss a coin into a wishing we...

November 3, 2014. It’s hard to make new autism mom friends. I never really know how to start small talk with another person, but I’d missed my chance last week when I first “met” them and I knew that the following week would be our last before preschool, so I took aim and fired: “Coupons– smart! I usually just sit here playing around on my phone.”. 8220;He imitates their behavior,” she said, “so of course, we want him imitating normal behavior.”. Ah There it is. Monthly Archives: November 2014. November 7, 2014. Inviting joy back into the conversation. It never fails– I open my computer and there is another story about an autistic child harmed, or killed, at his or her mother’s hands. There is a big conversation that needs to happen around this. Huge. Yes, part of the conversation is about family and mental health support, of course… but it’s really. About the rest of us. Yes, autism comes with challenges. Big ones, sometimes huge ones. Autism is people, and peo...

I will, overall, try to be aware of not generalizing our experience to apply to other families of kids on the spectrum. Really, you can’t compare these kids to one another any more than you can compare any two children. I can’t tell you what will be best for your child, but I. I’ll be honest here! I’m going to keep adding links as I find them, so check in with my blog roll and links section as it grows! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).
