Monday, May 3, 2010. For our little guy's arrival, I've been trying to think of some fun. Hannah and I joined our local MOPS group for some strawberry. Picking just outside Davis. (One of the joys. Of living in this smallish town is that we are surrounded by so many farm animals and fun crops! Once she got the hang of it, Hannah really enjoyed plucking. And putting them in her basket. That is, until she figured out that they were good. Not many made it into the basket after that.). Ben without his bear.

Next to a sarree this is the main type of clothing worn by women in India. I heard it sometimes referred to as a suit. It is esentially a baggy pair of pants, a long tunic, and a scarf (don't forget the scarf, it is a cumbersome but essential part of the outfit - it is honestly scandalous to not wear it. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. The last of summer. Before the college year (and consequentially Matt's year) got in full swing we headed up to Donner Lake for one last hurrah of summer. This time we took Matt's grandma (better known to all her great grand children as GG. Of the weekend - Matt went out fishing at sunset on Friday night and caught 4 fish. Hannah, GG and Pansy (GG's dog) also enjoyed put their feet. Since GG was willing to babysit Matt and I recreated one of his fondest childhood memories.
