Friday, November 4, 2011. This year we spent girl's camp with our stake up at the Heber Valley Camp. It was the last year that I will be at camp with both my girls. It's kind of sad to think that Courtney won't be going up with us next year. We ate tons of food, hiked some pretty big mountains, canoed all over the big lake and crafted our little hearts out! Tuesday, October 25, 2011. It was October 26, 2007, on a breezy Friday afternoon that Julia was diagnosed with spina bifida during an ultrasound appointment. I remember vividly the way the doctor described what my child's life would be like in heart breaking detail. He said he thought we should consider terminating the pregnancy. I will carry the heartbreak of that day with me for the rest of my life. Today is the anniversary. I wish October 26, 2007, would have been different. Playing in the sprinklers.

Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Apologies of an Overwhelmed Mama. There was an activity with. A deadline. Or sign that permission slip. Or remember that it was a half day of school and pick him up on time. Or sell entertainment books. Or attend any parent teacher association meetings. Or contribute to any fundraisers. Or volunteer for any committees. I'm sorry if I didn't take care of myself at all. This week, let alone taking care of myself first so I can care for others. I'm not being sarcastic. I am.
