The neighbour, was a bit mad but totally wonderful. I've often suggested to ( nagged. Mr TH that we should get a dog. He's not so keen. As part of my persuade-Mr-TH-that-he-really-does-want-a-dog. Campaign (otherwise known as nagging. I went for this option. When Mr TH had eventually stopped laughing. I'm still deciding on exactly. He still said, 'No'.

Thursday, 25 April 2013. Inspired by the sudden increase in temperatures, 'spring clearing' the shed seemed a suitably busy outdoor activity. Lurking towards the back were crates left over from the Christmas clementines. In the kitchen cupboard there was a lonely packet of dried peas, leftovers from a mushy pea phase. Soil was shovelled, peas scattered, water sploshed. A mere ten days later. They have been sampled (scattered on risotto). They are delicious. I've already planted some more. Use the car less.

Saturday, June 2, 2012. So this week I had a go at making this from a recipe in my new book - it's just beeswax and olive oil melted together. One thing I learned by trial and error - it needs to be stirred while cooling, otherwise you get a layer of olive oil floating on top of a layer of solid beeswax. Today I had a go. I did the right shoe of a pair of black court shoes and of a pair of brown boots - and it's come up a right treat! It's worked particularly well on the brown boots - they look lovely!

September 5, 2014. Today marks the offical start of this blog. Gonna just go with what I've got. As the days progress, the hope is that this blog will become MORE functional and the pages will seem less empty or without purpose. :) Goals, goals.
