Building a Majestic 45: That moment when...
http://majestic45.blogspot.com/2015/01/that-moment-when.html
Building a Majestic 45. Friday, 16 January 2015. That moment when you close the front door of your house and instantly realise you locked your car keys inside. That moment is extremely embarrassing. Especially when you have no way of getting back inside to your nearly complete new house that you shouldn't have been in anyway. As I closed the front door I remembered my keys were on the kitchen bench. doh! We're definitely getting our keys on the 21st. Pics to come. Can't wait! Landscaping … The End ...

Building a Majestic 45: December 2014
http://majestic45.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Building a Majestic 45. Wednesday, 10 December 2014. Lost in space. I started this post weeks ago describing our non-existent tilers who were lost in space at the time. There was a week where they only turned up for about 4 hours of work. that's all. Nothing else happened that week. You'd think that if they were actually trying to finish our house on time they would organise to have tradies on site. Why weren't those homes affected by rain delays? I was informed that at the beginning of December they dec...

Building a Majestic 45: Moved in
http://majestic45.blogspot.com/2015/02/moved-in.html
Building a Majestic 45. Sunday, 1 February 2015. Moving is such an exhausting process. My back hurts, I'm tired, we're all a bit cranky but we're finally in our new house. We first met with a Wisdom Homes sales person in early January 2013 and now two years later we're sitting in our new home. Would we do it again? Are we happy with it? It's way too early to answer those questions properly, but yes, we'd probably do it again. Happy? Things they don't tell you until the end:. 3 February 2015 at 15:56.

Building a Majestic 45: August 2014
http://majestic45.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Building a Majestic 45. Sunday, 24 August 2014. Brick progress (part 4). Despite the recent rain, the bricklayers have been onsite most days and have nearly finished their work. It looks like they'll need another delivery of bricks and a couple more dry days. Oh, and following on from the "window saga" in previous weeks: the bedroom windows have finally been swapped around. Sunday, 17 August 2014. Brick progress (part 3). Dear Builder, I don't ask for much, I'm polite, I'm reasonably patient. just ke...

Building a Majestic 45. Sunday, 29 June 2014. ELAINE: Why couldn't you just wait? GEORGE: I was there! I saw a drain! ELAINE: Since when is a drain a toilet? GEORGE: It's all pipes! ELAINE: Different pipes go to different places! You're gonna mix 'em up! They came painted some green and some orange. I guess that's so the sewer doesn't end up connected to the water tank. Different pipes go to different places:. This coming week the frames will be delivered. Yay! Tuesday, 24 June 2014. Sums it up best.
