February 14, 2013. On Tuesday I celebrated Mardi Gras (or Fat Tuesday) in a typical Czech fashion at my town’s ‘Masopust’ festival. Masopust at the City Hall. Masopust basically means “meat celebration.” Just like Mardi Gras, people will spend the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday stuffing their face with meat and fatty food as a last-ditch effort to consume unhealthy things before fasting for the Lenten season. 8220;Do you want some weird meat stuff? Yup I ate it. Thanks to this kid, I had 3 shots by 3:30pm.
