Carvoeiro is a charming expanded fishing village, although the fishing boats on the beach are now mostly used during the summer to take visitors to see the Grottoes. A short walk up past the ruins takes you to another beach, secluded and accessed by steps down to the sand. Has a king size plus bed, plenty of storage and balcony to sit out and have a coffee in the morning or a night cap at the end of the day. There is a safe in which to store valuables.
