Are Tire Tanks safe for livestock to drink out of? Yes, they are just made of rubber. They have been used for livestock for over 30 years with no ill effects. The federal government approves of their use through cost-share funding. Most OTR tires that we use never had any chemical fluid in them. However, it is always a good idea to rinse out the tires before installing them. How do you seal the hole (bottom rimhole)? What are other uses of Tire Tanks?

Do you have unwanted OTR tires? We often need tires in all parts of the United States. What size tires do we take? Our demand varies somewhat by region, but we do not take anything smaller than a 29.5-25. We do take any. Size larger than that. What condition do the tires need to be in? They can't be completely shredded or large blowouts. We need to have one sidewall and at least 2/3 of the contiguous tread (depending on the tire size) in water-tight condition.
