My journal about sewing, knitting, and a return to real, feminine style. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. I did, however, make a skirt using a McCalls pattern (3341). I have had for a long time. It is such a basic skirt, which is exactly what I want for everyday wear. The denim has a slight amount of give to it and will work nicely with riding boots. I am also getting ready to sew another skirt using Burda pattern (7324), featured in one of my earlier posts. I hope to have pics soon!

And, I just ordered two more that were at a terrific price and are "retro," which really intrigues me. I love polar fleece and wear it almost daily around the house in the fall and winter. I just discovered that I can get nice quality fleece at a (fairly) nearby store and so I ordered this pattern for the purpose of making a few vests. Join me on this sewing journey!
