K-diggity Rides: Day 1 (for some)
http://k-diggityrides.blogspot.com/2007/09/third-annual-whitlock-brothers.html
Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Day 1 (for some). The Third Annual Whitlock Brothers Motorcycle Trip started for my brother (as usual) the day before it started for me. Saturday September first, he loaded up his gear and headed west before sunrise and I got up at my usual time and headed to work. Back to the story. I personally love to ride in the rain and I know Carlton has all the right gear so I assumed Jason’s gear was the hold up. I later found out that wasn’t the case. Carlton’s bike/car thing...

K-diggity Rides: Day 4 -505 miles- Boise, WY to Kalispell, MT
http://k-diggityrides.blogspot.com/2007/09/day-4-505-miles-boise-wy-to-kalispell.html
Saturday, September 15, 2007. Day 4 -505 miles- Boise, WY to Kalispell, MT. The temperature fluctuations and accumulated miles from day three had made me pretty tired and I slept great that night. I think we rode through about a 40 degree swing from the upper 50s to the upper 90s, from rain and overcast to bright-sun-in-your-face-sucking energy-out-of-your-sweat-soaked-bones. Luckily my AST and a bottle of water I could squeeze into my vents as I rode kept me cool in the hot stretches. The road was wide ...

My ride | ride.twolaneroads.com

A road trip from your armchair. Adding a switched fuse block. Nolan N43 Trilogy helmet. I’ve owned this motorcycle since 1995. It’s a Harley-Davidson FLHT-C , known as an Electraglide Classic . In slang terms it’s a bagger, so-called for the trunk and bags hanging off of the top and sides. I’ve put over 200,000 miles (320,000 kms) on this one not a lot, by some standards, but quite a few all the same. The verdict on the Metzler 880? It’s not good: only 10,000 miles (16,000 kilometers) on the Metz&#...

Thursday, May 21, 2009. Twas the night before. The bag is packed. The bike is ready. The planning is finished. The Garmin is loaded. There are fresh batteries in the camera. And yes, I even installed a cup holder (I can’t let Mitch be the only one.) I’m a wake-up and a shower away from the eagerly anticipated, annual motorcycle adventure extraordinaire. K-diggity Rides: Day 5 -212 miles- Glacier National Park Loop
http://k-diggityrides.blogspot.com/2007/09/day-5-212-miles-glacier-national-park.html
Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Day 5 -212 miles- Glacier National Park Loop. It started with the hunt for caffeine. There was a pot in our room but hotel room coffee is almost always nasty so I didn’t bother trying to make it. I was headed to the front office to see what was available when I ran into another couple coming back from there with two each of those little 6oz Styrofoam cups. I decided to pass. The Park itself is really indescribable and I don’t think we were even there at the optimum view...

http://k-diggityrides.blogspot.com/2007/09/day-7-362-miles-columbus-mt-to-buffalo.html
Thursday, September 20, 2007. Day 7 -362 miles- Columbus, MT to Buffalo, WY. I had suggested the route change that brought us to Columbus instead of Laurel based solely on the squigglieness of the road on the map. Simply looked like more fun than this:. I think choosing roads may have something to do with what kind of bike you ride. On a clear day, it would have been an excellent choice. On a clear day…. By the time Carlton tapped me on the back and said we needed to get going (another couple was waiting...
