While this Summer has undoubtedly left many of us feeling a little lost with the lack of sunshine, there have been some truly stunning sunsets and I have been loving the changing colours and cloud formations that have filled the sky as of late. I love the wispy clouds at the bottom and the thicker, darker clouds at the top - as a bit of a meteorology geek I always try to identify the clouds and see how many different types I can spot! It's not always easy though! I loved the reflection on my windows too.

I've been really inspired by the ocean most recently, and having gotten back into the swing of being more creative on a daily basis I've found myself drawing, painting and writing about the sea! So when I came to think about an idea to Float This Page in my Wreck This Journal, I knew straight-away what I wanted to do! And when a page on, it prompted me to Freeze This Page, I drew inspiration from the beautiful icy lands of the Arctic, complete with an inquisitive Orca! For the little Fish I used this.

Last week I had to do a little bit of cross country Cumbria travelling to get to a couple of interviews, and while the weather, as you can see from my photos below, was not the sunniest, the rain and the mist leant itself to the mountains, and left the landscape looking ethereal and majestic! Majestic is one of my favourite words and sometimes I think it is the only way to describe Cumbria.). Hungry sheep and misty mountains looming in the distance. Sheep are always curious whenever a camera comes out.
