Grit in the Gears: A Question for Adullamite.
http://gritinthegears.blogspot.com/2014/12/a-question-for-adullamite.html
Grit in the Gears. Wednesday, 17 December 2014. A Question for Adullamite. Some time ago, Adullamite. Posted a picture of an odd little red car he'd come across on his travels. I'm a car buff, so I usually am pretty good at identifying old cars. (Cars from the nineties onward I generally have no interest in). This time I was stumped. But I think I may have found the answer, or would guess that if I could find the original pic. But I've been unable to remember when it was or the post title. Lee, you can h...

Dave Mows Grass: September 2013
http://davemowsgrass.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 29, 2013. I'm almost finished with delightful and pompous philosopher Alain de Botton's. How Proust Can Change Your Life. In preparation for another go at Proust's. In Search of Lost Time. After beating him by three minutes at UROC. The paved loop at Bluff Creek Park in Oklahoma City is still 0.96173 miles long and I will still be running and walking around it for 24 hours starting October 26th at 9:00 AM. I do know how training could be going any better! Bullet Holes in the Mailbox.

Monday, June 15, 2015. Recondite Quips and Hockey Fight Quips. The need to take up pen and write seems to be natural to the disturbed spirit.". My name is Dave and I do not mow grass. I do not own a kayak. I do travel medium distances by foot, always at an easy pace. The Leafs will win the Cup again in my lifetime. No they won't. I hope you enjoy my blog! Dave Mows Grass: March 2014
http://davemowsgrass.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 01, 2014. I read a book with Donald pretty much every weeknight before I tuck him into bed. He brings home some pretty good ones from the school library, but this one by Shel Silverstein left me dumbstruck. I thought I was reading Chekhov! Not a children's book at all, but anyone who has been beaten down and broken by life for several decades will love it. One of the most wonderful things I've ever read! Dear Mr. Epic,. I don’t think so! Bullet Holes in the Mailbox. Grit in the Gears.

Monday, May 22, 2006. Week-old rouen ducks. When fully fledged they will have irradescent green heads and look somewhat like a mallard. Unfortuantely there is absolutely no way to tell them apart, save small size differences, so they will have to remain nameless for the time being. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Poetry is the dark side of the moon, it's up there, and you can see the front of it. But what it is isn't what you're loooking at. It's behind what you're looking at.".

It is only through art that we can escape from ourselves and know how another person sees a universe which is not the same as our own and whose landscapes would otherwise have remained as unknown as any there may be on the moon. Poetry is the dark side of the moon, it's up there, and you can see the front of it. But what it is isn't what you're loooking at. It's behind what you're looking at.". Dave Mows Grass: November 2012
http://davemowsgrass.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 30, 2012. 12 Hours of J.B. Hunt Park. The title, "12 Hours of J.B. Hunt Park," is already filled in. Beneath it is the white rectangle I stare at now. What is there to write about running 53 laps of nothing? What is interesting about that? I don't know, but I will try to find something.]. Around and around he went. Around and around he went. As always occurs at parks in the more affluent neighborhoods, mid-morning brought out the ostensibly desirable women for whom restricting caloric in...
