Friday, August 14, 2015. This Summer was a long time coming, so now that it has finally arrived, we are drinking it up! Brennen has been enjoying his holidays, and Andrew and I took a week off to relax and enjoy some time together as a family. We were fortunate to have a string of beautiful, warm sunny days that allowed us to make impromptu trips to the park, have picnics in the grass, and enjoy some incredible sunsets from Nanny and Poppy's dock. Here are some photos of what we've been enjoying so far.

Sunday, March 29, 2015. Every now and then, as often as we can, Andrew and I like to go on little adventures - road trips or 'bay-cations' (like I talked about HERE. We've had so many great adventures and visited so many awesome places around the island, mostly before I started this blog, so I haven't been able to share them, until now! But this post is not as much about the Town of Trinity, as it is about the Trinity Loop. The railway was destroyed quite significantly during Hurricane Igor in 2010.

Thursday, January 29, 2015. Brennen will be ten years old next week. A week from today, in fact. As his birthday approaches, I have found myself looking through old photos, recalling past events and just reveling in the memories we have made over the last *gulp* decade. Just a quick post tonight to acknowledge these feelings, the enormity of the emotions that come to the surface when I think of how much I love this little boy.
