Family and Running….in the SWAMP! 200-ish miles.NBD: Ragnar Socal. April 23, 2012. Wow…what an experience! Picked me up from the airport and we headed down to Orange County to meet up with our team for Van decorating! We made it to Exchange 6 around 8:00am. We were waiting for the last runner from Van #1 to come in for the exchange. At this point Van 1 was on a break and Van #2 was starting up! All smiles before we realized that the temperature was about to climb to a bajillion degrees Fahrenheit! Phil m...

On Monday April 29th he called hospice (remember she was released from their hospital) and they suggested she do a 3 day stay to give him and L’s aunt a break. Running Mama x5: June 2011
http://runningmamax5.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 6, 2011. I was told it is a stress fracture waiting to happen. The sports doc gave me permission to run the race, but only train with zero pain until then. That left me opting for the elliptical most days and missing out on the planned tempo runs, speed workouts and even easy runs. My weekly plan of 30 miles quickly turned to 16. YIkes! I headed to get on the bus at 5:00am. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Taking a Swiffer Duster to the Blog. Miles, Muscles and Mommyhood. Lace it up and run.

Wednesday, January 11, 2012. 1 Run a 5K PR @25:30 (the others that appear to be lower were short routes). 2 Run another 1/2 marathon with a less pathetic outcome. 3 Train atleast 18 (running) miles each week. Yes, I know to many that is laughable, but I'm old and need to XT atleast 2 days. 4 Listen to my body and rest when needed. 5 Run atleast 1 10K. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Hungry Runner Girl.
