Thunder Road Racing: Race Recap: Run Toto Run
http://thunderrracing.blogspot.com/2011/02/race-recap-run-toto-run.html
Monday, February 21, 2011. Race Recap: Run Toto Run. Scott Lee and Chris Thomas ran the 10 mile trail run at Wyandotte County Lake known as “Run Toto Run”. We ran the “easy” race, as they offered a 10, 20, and 30 mile trek. This was our first trail run as TRR and while enjoyable, it was very demanding. I had read on line that trail running can be like running double for road runners like us. I could not believe that a 10 mile run would really feel like 20 miles. Thunder Road Racing: January 2011
http://thunderrracing.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 26, 2011. That Was Then, This is Now. As always, I would be remiss if I didn’t send a big THANK YOU to all the people who read the blog, email, Facebook, or face to face share comments on how happy you are, how proud, how inspired by the lifestyle changes I have made. It truly is humbling to realize the cheering section out there! I wanted to share my experiences from this week. Remember, my 400 lbs was attained by a lack of self control and bad habits around food, drink, and sleep.

Thunder Road Racing: August 2010
http://thunderrracing.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 8, 2010. Russ, Suzy, Scott pre-Brew2Shoe. The Brew2Shoe 10K really got our juices flowing…the background. Scott and I had been working out in bootcamp/classes/gym format since Nov 2009. In June 2010, while seeing great results we began to hit a wall in regard to weight loss. We discussed the idea of running but decided it was not cool enough and we would end up blowing up our knees. WE HAD A BLAST! Such a needed race as the training runs were boring and we just weren’t into it. B...10/10/1...

Thunder Road Racing: October 2010
http://thunderrracing.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. Halloween Trick or Trot-Race Recap. So first off, imagine my surprise when I worked to get the TRR crew for this race and found out the “tricks” are not hookers. That is embarrassing (sorry for the TRR solicitation lady, but you WERE dressed in your slutty nurse outfit). I am always amazed at the “firsts” that come up in running; I remember the first race I ran ( Run-Shunga, Council Grove. I was shocked at the people running the course twice, or running prior to the race. Scott ...

Thunder Road Racing: A New Adventure Begins
http://thunderrracing.blogspot.com/2011/02/new-adventure-begins.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. A New Adventure Begins. A few members of TRR (Russ and Jaime) are dipping their toes into the shallow end on bikes. Having recently purchased two bikes to gear up for the spring, we've go a lot to learn about the world of cycling. Feel free to join us for the ride! Anatomy seems a good place to start. Thunder Road Racing: November 2010
http://thunderrracing.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 24, 2010. What I am thankful for…running (more on this later). Now that is not all…I have a wonderful wife, a great network of friends and family, a job I enjoy and a healthy lifestyle but running has meant more to me in 2010 than you can ever imagine. On Sunday 11/21 Thunder Road Racing ran the Gobbler Grind Half Marathon. Completed the race. Jaime Thomas. Ran the 5K. This may have been our last race of the season but a great accomplishment by all. It is a great accomplishment. I am ...
