Feb 10, 2013. This is the best thing you can make with cabbage! Very sweet and crunchy salad. 1/2 head of cabbage or 6ish cups, shredded. 3-4 medium red apples, chopped. 5 oz evaporated milk. 1/4 cup lemon juice. 1 tsp celery seed. In large bowl mix together the evaporated milk, lemon juice, sugar, celery seed and salt and pepper. Add chopped apples and stir until apples are coated. Then add shredded cabbage.
