On Today's Episode...: Warming Up to Avatar: The Last Airbender
http://rhandley.blogspot.com/2011/01/warming-up-to-avatar-last-airbender.html
Thursday, January 13, 2011. Warming Up to Avatar: The Last Airbender. Episode 1: "The Boy in the Iceberg". Writers: Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. It would be difficult, with a son soon turning nine, not to be aware of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Joshua has been re-watching the entire series repeatedly for the past couple of years, and has often asked me to watch it with him. Being a nice dad, I kept finding ways to avoid having to do so without hurting his feelings. I began finding myself...

AlwaySingin: November 2006
http://alwaysingin.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 13, 2006. I made a mistake, a HUGE mistake, that I will be paying for, literally, for years. A couple of months ago, I was gathering information on line about various credit recovery programs. One website (Credit Solutions) asked for contact information and stated that someone would be contacting me. That was it. There was no other information to obtain from the site and nothing else they wanted from me. I submitted my number. That was the mistake. I assumed. Here I am, now 3 months late...

Wednesday, January 31, 2007. What did the razor heads do to you? Have you tried to buy replacement razor heads lately? I've been trying to buy them for probably 2 months now. I kept on thinking that I wasn't looking hard enough for them or that they were always sold out when I got to the store. I only want the 4 pack because these things are really friggin' expensive! Usually around $8 or $9 for the 4 pack. SHEESH! I'd go back to disposables, but I can't take the knicks. I went to the supermarket. I ...

Tuesday, January 18, 2011. I'm American, too! Let me set it up for you. Now, I've heard these sorts of comments before. That those of us that live in and around NYC or in and around LA (for some reason other major cities, like Chicago, are never included) are somehow less American; less patriotic. What gives these people the right to say that? What makes them think that we are less concerned about this country, are less invested in its success, in its ideals, dreams, values? I thought we were all strivin...

http://muchadoblog.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Much Ado About Nothing. Just another gamer girl geek enjoying life and having a good time. Monday, November 14, 2005. Ok, this is just a quickie to say sorry for not posting much lately! Life has sort of reared up and smacked me around, and it isn't quite done yet. Hopefully after Thanksgiving it will return to a somewhat normal pace, and I will actually be able to stop and breathe once in a while again, an activity I miss greatly. Posted by Toni @ 5:03 PM. Why do they call it the "escape" key? What are we escaping from? Which brings me to why do they call it an emergency exit? If it is an emergency, aren't we escaping, not exiting? Just a little Thursday afternoon musing for you. Posted by Toni @ 5:05 PM. View my complete profile. Follow me on Twitter. A Constant State of Exhaustion.

Much Ado About Nothing. Just another gamer girl geek enjoying life and having a good time. Thursday, March 30, 2006. I just uploaded all my pictures, and I thought I would share a few here. I have been dying to test out the picture features of blogger, so this is the perfect opportunity! Here is a closer shot of the Frauenkirche. I loved the way the branches of the trees silouhetted against the church, and I was having fun with perspective a bit. Posted by Toni @ 2:20 PM. Posted by Toni @ 7:32 AM. We wan...

Much Ado About Nothing: July 2006
http://muchadoblog.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Much Ado About Nothing. Just another gamer girl geek enjoying life and having a good time. Sunday, July 16, 2006. I finally realized why I don't blog very well. My writing, however, has nothing to do with reality. I am not a non-fiction writer. While I think I knew this, I never really put it in those terms. Most of what goes on in my head revolves around people and places that don't exist. And what is reality-centered isn't always the types of things I want to share with the whole world. So rather than ...
