Longmired in Life: November 2012
http://katielongmire.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2012. The year Ben and I got married we decided that the best way to celebrate holidays with our respective families was to alternate holidays and years. This year it was Thanksgiving with Ben's family and Christmas will be with mine. (Although we do celebrate Christmas with both families every year . just not necessarily on the actual holiday). We arrived in Knoxville on Wednesday evening and relaxed with Ben's aunt and uncle and brother after we got Wyatt to sleep. We then went ...

Longmired in Life: June 2012

Friday, June 29, 2012. Easy Come, Easy Go. I think before Wyatt was born, and really even now, the things I've thought would be the biggest struggles have turned out to be no big deal. I say that without exception. Nursing? No problem . that was easy. Dropping mid-night feedings? Not a problem. Weaning? Not hard at all. Taking him out of his swaddle? Easy peasy. Moving him to the crib (from our room)? No issues. Taking away the bottle? He never even missed it. Although he wasn't using them in public, he ...

Longmired in Life: May 2012
http://katielongmire.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 24, 2012. Two years ago today, I woke up at Northside Hospital. I was 8 days past my due date, and my midwife had insisted that I must go ahead and let them induce labor. I kept hoping and hoping that I would go into labor on my own, but it was not to be. Shim was a stubborn little thing! So, I had checked in the night before and they started the induction process about 6:00 am on the 24th of May. How in the world can I encapsulate your little personality in a simple blog post? You don't li...

Friday, May 31, 2013. A Very Happy Birthday to a Very Special Boy! I'm a week late on this, but what is new? We celebrated Wyatt's THIRD birthday last week. I just don't even know how we went from this . To this in just three years! We started celebrating Wyatt on Thursday by taking cupcakes to his school. As soon as I walked in the door, all the kids started talking about cupcake time! They all sang to him. It was PJ day, by the way - a last minute fundraiser for the Oklahoma victims. I love Pinterest, ...

Longmired in Life: October 2012
http://katielongmire.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 26, 2012. We've suspected for quite some time that Wyatt was going to be left handed. His Pediatrician told me that hand dominance wasn't really decided until age 2-3 although I don't really agree with that - he's always favored his left hand. Thankfully, Ben is left handed as well so he will be able to show him how to hold a pencil, cut with scissors (btw - thanks Meme for buying him some lefty safety scissors :), throw a. Ball, swing a bat etc. So a pat on the back for me, right? I'm sk...

Longmired in Life: Easter
http://katielongmire.blogspot.com/2013/04/easter.html
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. We had a wonderful Easter weekend! I realize that was about 3 weeks ago, but I'm just now getting around to posting photos. We started out our weekend at the lake on Friday night. Wyatt and Ellie actually went up earlier in the day and the weather was beautiful so they enjoyed playing outside and riding all their toys all afternoon. After breakfast on Saturday morning, the kids got dressed and we all went outside to play. All three of them loved just digging in the dirt. We tried...

Longmired in Life: January 2013
http://katielongmire.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 2, 2013. I feel way behind here, and I have a million bajillion Christmas pictures to share. I'm trying to limit them, but then I always worry that I won't post a picture of a certain person or event and then someone will get their feelings hurt because they weren't included. So here is my best attempt:. I spent the whole next week getting gifts ready and wrapped. And spent all of W's waking moments explaining that he CANNOT open the presents under the tree. Wyatt also got a fun new to...

Monday, January 28, 2013. Our last few days in Atlanta. When we got back from Arkansas, Beau and I were so lucky to get to stay in Atlanta for a couple more weeks. We spent lots of quality time with Poppy, Sam, and Sarah, and of course we got to see lots of Adam, Frazer, and Landon, too! We had a great time in Atlanta and miss everyone so much. Natalie was my very first friend I met in Valdosta. It was so great seeing her and her sweet boys! Beau was so tired after playing so hard at Lego Land. Nothin cu...

The Anders Family: February 2013

Sunday, February 24, 2013. A little snow (ice) day fun. This first picture was about the extent of the snow we got here in Coffeyville last week. The next morning, we did, however, wake up to ice everywhere! I loved it because it gave me a great excuse to do absolutely do nothing! Here are some pictures of how we spent our few days of being iced in. Playing outside and getting pounded with wet snow. Cruisin' in the snow! Defrosting with a little lunch and Disney Jr. Too much snow day fun! One day last we...
