Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Saturday, December 31, 2005. Now I just LOVE New Year's Eve, I do. Looking back I have lots of fond memories. Even the bad ones were good, I love it so much. I remember going clubbing in London, standing on Sydney Harbour watching the fireworks, having a party with friends, being at church on the stroke of midnight. Whatever form it took, New Year has always been pretty special for me. Reason one: I like parties. Posted by Jo Saxton @ 11:37 PM. Veiled in flesh the...

Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Saturday, July 22, 2006. So glad we've made it. Besides - how do you sum up a life changing, life defining year? Or try to explain how this 6lb 6oz bundle has grown into this bubbly, dramatic, vibrant, goofy toddler? Maybe words can't describe it. No words can communicate how much we love Tia; how much she's changed us, how we see the world, see life , see God through different eyes since she came around. In the meantime we just carry on! Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Saturday, February 04, 2006. A Different Pointe of View. I don't know, but it felt strangely comfortable and comfortably strange. I think I've mentioned before that many communities here whilst very diverse aren't especially integrated. Upon the hilltop hidden away was this different point of view, and whilst it comes at a price, its worth every penny and has a soulful soundtrack. Posted by Jo Saxton @ 7:44 AM. Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Saturday, March 25, 2006. Over the past few weeks, Chris and I have been stirred again about social action not being just a good thing, but part of our Biblical mandate. Reading. But then got to thinking maybe it didn't occur put Christians in there. So it got me thinking. that's all. Maybe I need to open my eyes a bit more, read a bit more, watch a bit more, think a bit more. Do a bit more.Just a thought. Posted by Jo Saxton @ 8:31 AM. Monday, March 20, 2006.

Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Monday, January 23, 2006. Tia is six months old! She's trying to crawl, talk, feed herself and take on the world - we're just trying to keep up! Posted by Jo Saxton @ 9:48 PM. Friday, January 20, 2006. Peeps, I have only just worked out how to get the comments published! Soz about that. I am not even sure I did it right. Even the most basic of things get me. I'm all fuddled! Anyway - I think that they are there now. Matt - comment tastic as ever, thank you. Ever t...

Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Monday, June 26, 2006. We're often asked what we miss most about England. Generally for me it comes down to the food (ordinary stuff that you are used to having , bread that isn't sweet, and curries and sausages, and all that) and the politics (I am serious). But the last few weeks have reminded me of another thing I so desparately miss - England during the World Cup. So on one level I was prepared. I was speaking to our car mechanic today and he asked. And why oh...

Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Monday, August 28, 2006. From 19 23 August about 5000 young adults (students and 20 somethings) gathered to two conferences at Royal Bath and West Showground. Firstly there was Passion for Your Name, a conference aimed mainly at people who were worship leaders, or active in worship ministry, be it in music, technical stuff, art or dance. Then there was Momentum, a conference specifically for students and 20 somethings. You could see at Momentum that God was grabbi...

Livin' my life like it's golden, golden. Sunday, November 20, 2005. When I used to travel lots, there would always be the long haul flights with a baby or two on board. Passengers would tut and mutter, parents would smile apologetically and look embarrased, baby would wail on and on. I must admit, I've never been that bothered by it. Even the time when my seat got changed on a flight to OZ and I ended up in a bulkhead seat with a set of newborn twins. I mean they are just babies aren't they? Not one of W...
