Tomorrow I will weigh and measure and have several different exercise ideas for the next month that I will be trying. My diet is pretty good except maybe too much beer on the weekends but my focus will now be protein, water, and movement. Here goes everything. Wish me luck. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A record of my journey before, during, and after undergoing weight loss surgery. Thursday, March 24, 2011. Never thought I would get here. 199.8 as of this morning. I don’t normally weigh in on Thursday but have a semi-formal banquet to go to tonight with my honey and my goal was to be under 200 before I slipped into my new dress. I made it! I don’t think I have been under 200 in probably 14 years, since I was 21. I still have a long way to go but am glad the scale is moving again. Since my surgery on.

So last Friday was my 5 month anniversary of my surgery and I was down 73.7 pounds. I often feel like I am losing too slow and that I have had an abnormal amount of stalls. I decided to break down my loss by months so I can see how I am doing this is what I found. I am 5'3" and weighed 264 before surgery. I had my VSG on 11/15/2011. November I lost 22.6 pounds.

My news is that I have just worked out my BMI – 29.8. I am officially only overweight! I started at a whopping 40.2! So, it has been a simple set of rules this week – not flour, potatoes or chocolate! It’s working – 3 lbs off since Monday – amazing! These really are my trigger foods and need to be avoided 95% of the time.
