Watch Ed Build!: October 2012
http://watchedbuild.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Tournament Report: San Diego 3 Weapon Open. This past Sunday I went up to Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego and fenced in the local three weapon open. Well, it was a really small tournament, and thus short, which is good, as I pulled dead last. If I'm gonna do horribly, I'd at least like to do so in a timely fashion. Friday, October 5, 2012. What's Making Me Happy This Week, Pt. 2. You can grab it for $10 off the Mac App Store or on Steam. Thursday, October 4, 2012.

Watch Ed Build!: January 2012

Tuesday, January 17, 2012. 2012: Resolutions and Goals. 2012 is upon us! And I have no resolutions or plans yet! Onto the resolutions then! 1) To be more in the moment. I worry. A lot. A huge amount of my processing time and allotment goes to 'but what if this happens', and it's rarely in a positive or productive way. I've been getting better at shutting it off and just focusing on the task at hand, but there's still miles to go, which leads directly to resolution two. And now for goals! CHUG - San Diego...

Watch Ed Build!: September 2011
http://watchedbuild.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. My goodness, it's come at last. I've finally built something! My blog is true to its name! So, I had a problem. Foils are somewhat clumsy objects to carry around. Do you hold them by the points? Then I tried fitting it into my bag. Actually, what I wound up doing is consolidating my equipment from two bags to one. So it actually still works out! Plus, it's getting some compliments at the club. So that's something. Monday, September 19, 2011. So last week I placed fifteenth out...

Watch Ed Build!: December 2011
http://watchedbuild.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. The Kindle: A Year in Review. So it's pretty excellent overall, with again, the few drawbacks that will probably get better with time as e-books become less of a gimmick and more of a standard. Monday, December 26, 2011. From the vault . . . Camping! So, to recap some fun stuff that happened several months ago, about one week into school, I went camping up in the Sierras for my friend David Brang's birthday! Six of us went, and had a grand old time jumping by a lake! Can't wa...

Friday, February 3, 2012. Look, he's wearing a festive little scarf and everything! In any case, he was a great dog, and veritably ancient, making it to about sixteen years old. I loved the snot of him and will miss him greatly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Adventures of Drake and McTrowell. CHUG - San Diego Homebrew. Get In My Hood. How do you spell nudder? Bits and pieces of my life. Hello, my name is Florence. I’m a student at UCSD. I’m also a dreamer who is constantly trying to put those dreams, thoughts, ideas into action, although it usually fails ;]. One of the biggest things to happen to me recently is that I spent a year abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, as an exchange student at Copenhagen Uni (aka KU). I learned a bit of Danish (it’s terrible, but I love to practice it). Jeg kan tale Dansk. Je peux parler un peu de français :3. RT @ jk rowling. Fill ...

Bits and pieces of my life. Days 6-8: Skagen, then to Göteborg by ferry. July 25, 2012 in About my day. When I woke up in the morning, Charlotte was still around. I left for København Hovedbanegård before she left for work, so I was able to say good-bye to her before heading out. Finding a place to sit was a bit frustrating on the train, since I had no clue what car I was supposed to be in. I managed to find a free seat next to a pram blocking at least 4 seats -.-”. So much rain D:. Also, I noticed that ...

Bits and pieces of my life. Day 3: Gik Rundt i Hovedstaten. June 17, 2012 in About my day. I had a later start to my day, the jet-lag finally starting to kick in. I spend the first part of my day hanging out and saying good-bye to my new friend, Susan. It’s such a shame that we didn’t get to hang out longer before she left, but it’s time for her to be back home with family and friends🙂. On the way to the garden. Also pretty. This picture does not do this place justice. Finally, it was 14:30, and Charlot...

Day 4: “To Travel is to live”– H.C. Andersen | Flo's Blog

Bits and pieces of my life. Day 4: “To Travel is to live”– H.C. Andersen. June 19, 2012 in About my day. I think my favorite painting this time around is of 4 young Norwegians sitting in a boat in the middle of a lake on midsummer evening. It’s quite a big painting, and when I step back to look at it, I get chills, since it looks so real, with the surroundings really showing in the lake’s reflection. View outside some of the windows from the new building at Statens Museum for Kunst. I got to talk to Sabr...
