The Gar Tibet Health Project. Build and staff a healthcare clinic and keep it stocked with Tibetan, Chinese, and basic western medicines, including vitamin supplements. Educate and equip families and communities to care for women and infants before, during, and after childbirth by means of midwifery training and distribution of birthing kits. Train five local women in a three-year Tibetan and Chinese medicine program to provide basic healthcare services in Gargön and remote surrounding areas.
