I got to sit up front again, and had Dustin as my pilot again. Sunday, February 17, 2013. WAIS Divide Deep Field Camp 2012-13. I had a blast my two months at WAIS, chillin' on a mile tall ice sheet on the western side of Antarctica with these good people. Flat, white, wholesome, cold. I marshalled planes, fueled or defueled them, fueled the town tent stoves and generator. And sleeping in on Sundays, reading a book and eating chocolate. Pretty awesome! Monday, July 7, 2014. Mexico and Alaska 2014. Isla Mujeres is photogenic in every direction. It was our first stop with Dave and we loved it! I have a million pictures of these guys, they were everywhere in Mexico, LOVE them! On Isla Contoy National Park, lots of incredible birds and turquoise waters, palm trees. Exotic birds every time we went outdoors. A great blue heron at the jetty's. And below is an Ibis near the beach. We found quite a few shark's teeth and enjoyed a lot of sunshine together. Thursday, May 2, 2013. Sunrise on the Himalaya was always golden and worth the early start. Baby goats, my new obsession. I stopped and stared at each one. Now I want goats! Annapurna Base Camp in front of Annapurna 1. This camp at 13,550 feet and the 17,900 foot Thorung La Pass were the highest we got and the biggest views. Boats on Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Where we relaxed at the end of our trip. The village of Marfa from the Buddhist Monastery. This is the apple capital of Nepal! Macchu Picchu Peru 2013.

Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Coker Creek Falls in Tennessee. We went with Dave's parents, and saw the 360 degree views of fall in the mountains from Buck Bald on the same drive as well. This was Frankie, probably the cutest raccoon in the world. He visited us a lot at the cabin and just begged and looked cute whenever we grilled food. A particularly perfect day at the cabin, looking at fall colors from the porch. We got to go kayaking again! Lake Apalachia is the best. Fall color watching from the kayak.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Amazing windy but sunny day in the Neumayer Straits near Palmer Station. Our lovely ship in the Neumayer headed toward Palmer, back from Fishing. These mountains never get old. This area is where most of the cruise ships go that visit Antarctica, leaving from Ushuaia. Below is Commersons dolphins racing the ship back in the Straits of Magellan. Sunday, October 20, 2013. Indiana, N. Carolina and California. I got to see my beautiful cousin Zsuzsanna for the first time in a long while since she lives in Tempeh. She's engaged! Mom and Dad and I watched my nieces for a couple weeks so that Tibor and Dora could take an adult vacation to Canada and Yellowstone, and so the girls got to see Zsuzsa too!
