Kof Kof wait, say what? Audrey and I have had some interesting conversations in English over the last few weeks. We’re uping the amount of English we speak at home in the hopes of improving his English enough in 3 months so he can work during the day at Home Depot (according to him they told him he couldn’t work during the day until his English got better…. I’m not going there right now…). Yesterday he came into the kitchen, laughing, and said the mysterious “Kof, Kof” words again. Asks the son on TV.

Bar’s closing. Can I get a 6 pack to go? An interesting thing, that I haven’t seen in the states, is the idea of buying beer from the bar stock to-go, as the bar is closing. It’s something I’ve seen on a regular basis in Costa Rica. You can hear people shouting “Hey bartender, give me a 6 to go,” as they start to turn on the house lights and the bars are closing down. I’m not sure if you can buy it to go anytime during the night, or just when the bar’s closing, but it’s certainly useful. Living In The Us.

Menos é Mais, 19 min muito bem gastos. Nem vou falar muito, só digo esse vídeo equivale a alguns dos melhores 19 minutos que já gastei na minha vida, não pelo vídeo em si mas pela mudança de visão que proporciona, mudança que no meu caso apesar de não tão grande ajudou a confirmar coisas das quais eu já sabia.
