tidbits from nowhere: spirituality and me

http://tidbitsfromnowhere.blogspot.com/2013/09/spirituality-death-tagore.html

Sunday, September 1, 2013. I’m not spiritual, though I can perhaps say that I am drawn to spirituality in my own strange way. When I went for Vipassana for the first time, I remember being very excited to hear Goenkaji’s evening sermons. tidbits from nowhere: DJ

http://tidbitsfromnowhere.blogspot.com/2013/09/dj.html

Sunday, September 1, 2013. Who is Deepak and what’s happened to him? He is a recently acquired friend, one who was so open and easy to talk to, that we got along instantly. That’s saying a lot for someone like me who is otherwise shy and reserved. He is a follower of Isha yoga, and it is to their ashram in Coimbatore that he has gone. To ‘be with himself’, to ‘do only as told’, ‘until there is no ego left’. I suppose the calling became too strong…. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Eating out in Delhi.

tidbits from nowhere: May 2014

http://tidbitsfromnowhere.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 30, 2014. Two days two films Part 2. I nearly did not go for the second film either. because I was running terribly late and would have missed the first half. I went anyway, and I'm glad I did. The film was ordinary, but did its job reasonably well. The man of course is a superstar! Also check out his TED talk:. Post screening I returned home with a friend and his friend who turned out to be a midwife! Links to this post. Thursday, May 29, 2014. Two days, two films Part 1. The other thing not...

Eating Out in Delhi. In celebration of offbeat Delhi food. Friday, 27 March 2009. EOiD trips are always an adventure, but the vegetarian excursions are a particular delight. Not because we’re all militant meat-haters. Quite the reverse in fact. However, despite the fact that most of us believe a meal without meat is no meal at all, our leader, Hemanshu, is committed to providing an equal opportunities dining experience. Inflation Hits Old Delhi Kebabs. Of course, gorging on kebabs on a veggie night out i...

Tidbits From My Tots. Thursday, June 13, 2013. Today on the long drive down I-70W from Topeka to Fort Riley, we had a cop flip around from the eastbound lanes and start following us west. Tidbits from My World

Yes yes.I know I changed the words just a tiny bit, but I couldn't help it. It's what came to my mind when I realized I should type up a sort of farewell. I'm guessing this does not come as a surprise. I mean, it's been MONTHS. Since my last post. Aubrey is already 9 months old (and I haven't even taken her 9 month photos yet! Gasp* Though I've thankfully taken all her other monthly sets of pics.mostly on time). I cannot be a good mom, wife, sister, friend without Him. I need. Here's to closing this part...

Sunday, August 3, 2014. Finally Home in the Land of the Pines.
