The Cycle of Life. Friday, March 31, 2006. The loose arm is on the downshift-button side. That is the same thing that happened to me last time, if I'm not mistaken. Luckily for me, a fellow member of the NYUC also has a guni from Florian, so he may be able to fix this when I see him tomorrow. If not, I'll have to disassemble the wheel again (that's a lot easier than building it! And send the newer hub back to Switzerland. Posted by voiceofsocietyman @ 4:02 PM. Saturday, March 25, 2006. Well, then, read on.

The Cycle of Life. Sunday, April 30, 2006. I just bought a racing unicycle (which I will NOT be referring to as a 'runi'). It came from a member of the club who bought it recently and then quickly decided it wasn't practical for him. He only rode it five or six times. In the meantime, I'll practice riding it at the Tomb so that I can work on my technique. Posted by voiceofsocietyman @ 10:14 PM. Thursday, April 27, 2006. Posted by voiceofsocietyman @ 8:52 PM. My First Unicycle Club. Joe Merrill and I star...

The Cycle of Life. Monday, February 20, 2006. We all have a 'next unicycle.'. About 8 or 9 years ago, my 'next unicycle' was decided for me by some guy who zoomed past while I was walking around my old nabe. [Is this even true? Why would I have been walking. In my old neighborhood? My brother went one step further. Over my protestations that it would be too large to control, he bought a Semcycle 28" uni. Wow. That thing really rode! Freestyle 20" with carbon-composite seat. That old Schwinn giraffe (1982).

Mighty Ogbo Ponders: February 2005

As I sit on my ever increasing arse pondering the 'Verse, one can only wonder how much of this life truly makes sense? Wednesday, February 23, 2005. Richard Leape Come Home. All too often you see in the news the sad sad story of someone who has been missing for many years. A terrible tragedy you think - and you reflect that you're so lucky that this happens to "other people". And never to someone you actually know. One of my High School. Teachers is missing . has been missing for the last 12. And so was ...

Mighty Ogbo Ponders: Tiddly Winks for the Kiddley Winks

As I sit on my ever increasing arse pondering the 'Verse, one can only wonder how much of this life truly makes sense? Wednesday, February 02, 2005. Tiddly Winks for the Kiddley Winks. There are some days when you just feel OLD. Recently there was some e-mail flying about work for some touch-footbal competition. Many of us Geeks declined - and I quipped that I would rather play a vicious game of tiddly winks. Then to make matters worse - I mentioned that when I was a kid there were NO computer or TV games.

The Tale of Milton: Horses, Life, A Touch of Geek. August 13, 2015. Went for a lesson earlier this week. It was, in technical terms, hotter than three hells. I also had a mild headache, an intermittent stomachache, and an all-over malaise. The desire to give it all up for Tiddlywinks. Partly, the Aspirin and Pepto kicked in. Partly, in giving myself permission, I took the pressure off. What I really wanted to do was ride, thank you very much. I know this. Can I change this? I just yell louder at myself.

The Cycle of Life. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Pigeons and My Happy Life. While unicycling along the sidewalk today, I got brushed by a low-flying pigeon that made me think about how lucky my life has been. Grazed by pigeon .while unicycling. I was grazed by a bus once. NY Yankee Dave Winfield once killed a pigeon accidentally. Shirra loves Dave Winfield. We met him on our 1990 'baseball trip' to Chicago. That trip solidified our feelings towards each other. We got married 3 years later. Who talks me into...
