Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Plan B (again) with a new return route . with the winds we have had I. Chickened out of the Eluethra/Bimini/Miami plan. The captain agreed to make me happy and we ended up getting to spend another week with Sue, John and Lucy. This trip has been a learning curve on communication in the Bahamas. How did they do it before Internet and Cell Phones? We are finding that out :-). It has been a memorable six weeks. Heavy winds and heavy seas at Little Harbour. Oh no, I don't think so!

Monday, October 27, 2014. Oh, I am in Dixie! Here is a short history of Daufuskie.which was next to the county day dock which is right in front of the restaurant. Thursday, May 29, 2014. Here We Go Again! Sorry to leave you all wondering (short lived I'm sure, ha). anyway.we are still alive and well. We left the boat in the storage yard, mid January. In the past five months ( Oh my, how time does fly) we have been in Michigan where we saw minus 25 degree temperatures and lots and lots of snow! Air Force Academy Chapel. Air Force vs. Michigan Lacrosse game.we saw the warm ups but didn't stay for the "match". Pike's Peak from the Garden of the Gods welcome center.

Sunday, November 2, 2014. Another Good Week.with a Chilly end. WhoaI have hit an all time low reading my own blog to find out where I am and where I left off! I really should know don't 'ya think? Fort Frederica.the magazine ( with Tie A Knot anchored in the background. I am sure learning more now than I did then or maybe it's just paying more attention. So the lesson kids is, pay attention, someday you WILL use it. Know where the butcher, baker and candlestick maker lived along with the town leaders :-).

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Here are some photos I took of our friends Elaine and Lawrence on their sailboat 'Elle and I' the morning we left Mantanzas Inlet off of Ft. Myers Beach (was it really last week? We followed this power boat out and I couldn't figure out what in the heck they were doing. Cut off, ram or chase.anyway all was well. 'Elle and I' out ran them (fib, fib fib) and all was well. If they were playing Pirate they weren't very good.maybe it was just "practice". We haven't tried it yet.
