Thursday, January 29, 2015. Today can only be described as a disaster. It was meant to be a milestone day but it was a fail on all fronts. Friday, February 27, 2015. The school likes to welcome the kindergarten parents to the school by inviting them to sit in the classroom to watch the kids demonstrate their morning routine. This is then followed by a morning tea put on by the P&C. Yesterday was the day and I took a few photos while I looked around his classroom. He very proudly showed off his work and always had his hand raised when his teacher was asking the class questions. Colouring in his jelly for the 'j' sound. The size 1 shorts.

Friday, August 28, 2015. Like most parents I dread Book Week. Two of our three kids enjoy reading and writing. The issue isn't so much about books, it's about the dressing up. What to wear? It's the war between what character they want to go as vs what we actually have in the wardrobes and the dress up box. I'm not a parent willing to spend big dollars on character costumes that only get worn once. Buster wan't sure what to go as but we had a Ben 10 costume in the dress up box and he was happy with that.

Thursday, October 23, 2014. A few weeks ago our neighbours went away and asked us to look after their pets. Their pets consist of a rabbit called Rosie; as well as three chooks named Grace, Jasmine, and Twilight Sparkle. Wednesday, July 01, 2015. Kids in the kitchen - ambulance needed. I stuck his wrist under the kitchen tap and kept the water running. Poor Boo just kept crying and saying "I wish I had stayed in bed today". I was scared and he was scared so I called Triple 000 for an ambulance, which managed to freak him out even more. As for me, I'm still carrying the guilt. Guilt for letting him near a hot fry pan, and guilt for calling emergency services. Two days later before redressing.
