FundyNutter: January 2008
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Nanowrimo Part the Sixth. But, as it remained as good as any other daily ritual, when she got home from work (or dinner with Mario) she pulled out her master list, pulled out her favorite pencil and sat down with a cup of tea. 8220;You must be right, Shae. You must be. But it’s not the policy at the Coushay Institute. I can see I need to pray about this. To bring it to the staff. Surely they will see the light in it.”. 8220;Because love, because. It is a dark empire, Shan...

FundyNutter: Oh, How True
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2008/02/oh-how-true.html
Friday, February 1, 2008. Oh, How True. I would give my kids anything to make their ride on this planet more fulfilling. One thing I'm sure to give them is a sense of proportion-of how we in our corner of the planet are obligated to the rest of it because of our vast riches. I say I'm sure to give this to them because I am so freakishly cheap- they are not likely to develop a sense of entitlement in my house, where the most oft heard word is "no.". And The Strong Willed Child. I don't claim yet. That eit...

FundyNutter: July 2007
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2007. 8220;What went down on the Harry Potter Thread” or “I always was contentious”. Contentious is not a very pretty word. And it is not a very flattering descriptive when used by the boy you are madly mad for and hope to marry some day. And for some of us, who are read up on our Proverbs, it brings to mind a drippy faucet and husbands sleeping out on the roof of the house to get away from you. And yet, no one seems to disagree that I am kind of, sort of, well…. I thought, “Hey! But We...

FundyNutter: Tuition or Hope
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2008/02/my-littlest-girl-is-fighting-off.html
Friday, February 8, 2008. My littlest girl is fighting off bronchial pneumonia right now. I want to write it on the side of great buildings, like a Joey Harrington billboard. So the whole world will pray for her and she will be better already. And yet right now she is *better* she is just not well yet. And last night she was much worse. And so this will have to be my grown-up conversation over coffee. Would you like a piece of banana bread? I made it yesterday. I yearn for a lighthearted chat. I ...I'm c...

FundyNutter: February 2008
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 18, 2008. I haven't said a real goodbye for quite a while now. Maybe I have been avoiding them. Maybe God has granted me respite from goodbye for a time. I said goodbye about four years ago to some very dear friends. They were in town visiting me and our mutual friends this weekend. Every so often we email too. When we get together it seems perfectly natural. Please come see me soon! I am retiring from my time here at blogger and can be found from now on at:. Posted by Traci Tyne. Relate...

FundyNutter: September 2007
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 3, 2007. Where have all the posties gone? Where have I been? What have I been doing? Making great strides in my research? Discovering new facets to the historical world as we know it? Making friends and influencing people? I’ve mostly been eating a lot of coco-dyno-bites (you know, the ones in the bag that taste just like the cartoon theme ones but come at a more pleasant price per ounce), playing a lot of mine sweeper and ignoring anything that takes effort or thought. But I anticipate...

FundyNutter: December 2007
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 31, 2007. Nanowrimo: Part the Third. She did fall in love. Because she was 19 and they served together. He was her commanding officer during the great rescue, as she called it. A family was ship wrecked on a small island in the Orcas system, Canadian side of the border. Nothing much to write home about at first glance. But the mother of the family was pregnant. It was such an unsatisfying letter, so filled with weird Coushay Life Center-isms that Shannon tore it up and burned it in an as...

FundyNutter: Tag, I'm It : )
http://fundynutter.blogspot.com/2008/02/tag-im-it.html
Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Tag, I'm It : ). Ruth, of the blog in bloglist, tagged me. I did my best, since no book was on or very near the desk, to pick the closest book. I walked to the bookshelf, hand outstretched, taking the fewest steps possible and the first book that my had, at waist height, touched was what I am going with. The floor is strewn with other books, but they have a lot of picutes and generally fewer than 50 pages. The book is Lorna Doone. A Romance of Exmoore. Posted by Traci Tyne.
