The vibrant colours and textures in glass, and its luminescent quality can generate such emotive responses. My work has always been nature inspired, ranging from leaves and flowers to the landscapes under the sea. Preferring to use predominantly cold glass techniques incorporating metal work, I try to push the boundaries of what a piece of glass art can be. In some cases using clear glass to accentuate the linear forms of the metal image, and using 3D glass work and found objects to create new effects.
