Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Last night the olympic torch came through Kelowna. We went downtown and stood with the crowds. It was pretty brief but when the torch finally came by the kids were excited about it. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Open Adoption Experience. Family Photos Christmas 2007.

Bishop Family: February 2010
http://bishoponabike.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. Friday was a day off for the kids. We went cross country skiing again. The kids did a lot better this time. Matthias started with poles this time. Seija got tired part way through. We rented a trailer that I used to drag Seija around. With the trailer, Caleb and I could ski together comfortably. He kept up and I was forced to slow down. It was quite fun. Links to this post. Saturday, February 6, 2010. Links to this post. Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Links to this post.

Bishop Family: October 2008
http://bishoponabike.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. Last Friday Ashley arrived from Calgary to spend some time with us. On Saturday she and I participated in an Olympic distance triathlon together. She kicked my but in the swim. I learned that my body is definitely not in great shape right now. Tuesday this week I took a tumble off my bike. I have bruises and scrapes on every limb, on my chest and face. The worst is my left arm and hand. Gratefully, the injuries are minor and the pain is mild and I am healing quickly.

Janets Jots: Families!!!!!!
http://janetina.blogspot.com/2010/10/families.html
We had a wonderful family reunion for my Mother's side of the family this year and had such a fun time doing it! Magrath's campground was a great spot, except for the giant mosquitos that tried to carry off some of the young ones. We had a lot of fun connecting and making new friends with cousins that we don't see very often. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The string that holds all of us together! Esther, Russell Porter. Musings of a wannabe blogger. Friday, August 13, 2010. Grandma decided that the kids behave much better when they are busy so thought it would be fun to put them to work. They all got busy cleaning and when they were done the house looked much better and they all enjoyed working together. Now she thinks she is Tom Sawyer! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Making delicious and healthy food for Grandma and Grandpa. Fishing in the "Mississippi". Playing with blocks with Grandpa- and if you look in the background you can see Emma and Grandma dressing up . She has great color and is a great baby! And apparently a little bit of an entertainers flair.

Musings of a wannabe blogger. Friday, April 30, 2010. I had the opportunity to do another roadtrip and so went to the coast on Wednesday. Construction along the way was in full swing so making time was not possible. Traffic was light, I think because of the many delays. I decided to make it a leisurely trip and so stopped along the way and enjoy some of the scenery of the Fraser Canyon. I decided to post some pictures taken from the summit of Jackass Mountain.
