Tillamook Station is nestled within the old Triangle Milling building, built in 1932 when the railroad ran right up to its back doors. The station neighbors a variety of artists, makers and craftspeople. The building was built out by owners Yvonne and Nathan Emerson with the intentions of crafting an inspiring tailor-made space to work and play. Barn Owls and Hollyhocks. February 23, 2016. A couple of years ago my family and I moved to a small farm in the suburbs. It wasn’t a move we were totally happy about. We had been living in a little house on a hill in deep Northwest Portland. It was right at the edge of the woods and looked out over the Willamette River and St. Johns. We loved our neighbors.
