http://www.tilleyd.blogspot.com/2012/08/museum-of-life.html

Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Museum of life or how i pass a grug test. Roaming through past history. rifling through times gone by. my grandmother in laws house is a shrine to years well past. brown and orange wallpaper. shag pile carpet. magazines from the 1970's. most in pretty well perfect condition. It's strange to sleep. with history infiltrating your dreams. avocado painted nightmares. tangerine heavens. You want to learn. How to pass a urine drug test. New comments are not allowed.

http://www.tilleyd.blogspot.com/2012/11/how-strange-me-on-book-of-faces-trying.html

Tuesday, November 6, 2012. How strange. the me on book of faces. trying to give a. The me on book of faces. trying to give a lighter look like on things. And the then the me here. the true me. The dark. the angry. the sorry. the useless. the unfulfilled. Everyone wants to talk. but how does it help? When the one i want doesn't want me? So i'm left. alone. with the thoughts of my dark mind. I have family reaching out. which makes me more afraid than the nightmares reaching out. What do i do?

Black Cat Journal: singledom: the sequel

http://www.tilleyd.blogspot.com/2012/11/singledom-sequel.html

Sunday, November 4, 2012. I mean. yes. i am married. i wear my ring. my eyes don't wander. and the only pants my hands have been in are my own. so it's not that i'm single. but i am. I sleep on a futon. or on the floor. or on a couch. or an aerobed. either way. i'm alone. I make dinner for one. drinks for one. tea for one. So my newly not-quite-single life starts again on friday. i'm hoping these next three months go by fast. so i can get back to my very-married life. We'll just have to wait and see.

Viva Shaghai: Day 10: Datong

http://vivashanghai.blogspot.com/2006/03/day-10-datong.html

Share the adventure of the People's Republic of China. Friday, March 10, 2006. After buying tickets for the Beijing night train (91 RMB), Tessa and I ate a sumptuous lunch at a high-end local restaurant (86 RMB) where the staff were particularly keen to practice their English. It is safe to say that whatever the people of Datong lack in English skills, they certainly make up for in effort and perseverance. Long may it continue. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Viva Shaghai: Day 12: Beijing

http://vivashanghai.blogspot.com/2006/03/day-12-beijing.html

Share the adventure of the People's Republic of China. Sunday, March 12, 2006. Determined to see more of Beijing, Tessa and I set out to explore a selection of the local sites. Starting on the hip Dajong street, we browsed many of the trendy boutiques, before moving on to Beijing’s famous Silk Market. Similar to Shanghai’s Xiangyang market, Beijing’s bazaar is flooded with counterfeit goods, ranging from Gucci and Prada to Nike and Adidas. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Viva Shaghai: Day 20: Beijing

http://vivashanghai.blogspot.com/2006/03/day-20-beijing.html

Share the adventure of the People's Republic of China. Monday, March 20, 2006. In contrast to the rest of our adventure, our final day was spent in the relative comforts of an airport hotel. A far cry from the ancient sites of the last few weeks, we certainly enjoyed a day of idleness before returning to Shanghai. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Viva Shaghai: Day 14: Angkor

http://vivashanghai.blogspot.com/2006/03/day-14-angkor.html

Share the adventure of the People's Republic of China. Tuesday, March 14, 2006. Waking for the best buffet breakfast that we have ever tasted, Tessa and I bought our Angkor passes ($40 each) and, led by our wonderful guide, made our way in to the Cambodian jungle. Located in Northwestern Cambodia, the temples of Angkor, built by the Khmer civilization between 802 and 1220 AD, represent one of humankind's most astonishing and enduring architectural achievements. Share the adventure of the People's Republic of China. Saturday, March 11, 2006. Exhausted from the Beijing night train, Tessa and I collapsed in our hotel, rising only for food and football, for unbeknown to me; we were staying next door to a football bar. Share the adventure of the People's Republic of China. Wednesday, March 15, 2006. Day 15: Siem Reap. Unfortunately Tessa’s throat deteriorated on Wednesday but determined not to let it dampen our spirits, we still managed to see Banteay Srei and the floating village. The lake and river system of the Tonle Sap, the largest in South East Asia, fills with the waters of the Mekong each year, bringing vast numbers of fish and irrigation during the dry season. http://vivashanghai.blogspot.com/2006/03/day-18-bangkok.html

Share the adventure of the People's Republic of China. Saturday, March 18, 2006. Still nursing our respective ailments, Tessa and I began the day slowly before venturing in to Thailand’s capital. Starting at the Royal Temple, my first impression of Thailand was decidedly unimpressive. Perhaps anything would have been disappointing following the splendor of Angkor Wat but I can only describe the 200 year old temples of Bangkok as gaudy at best. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
