Button-Fly Genes: Shoddy Mill
http://buttonfly.blogspot.com/2012/03/shoddy-mill.html
If you arrived here looking for denim - try the back button. Stumbled across a job title I'd never heard before: Teamer at Shoddy Mill. A SHODDY MILL appears to be a Mill which produced clothing made from material created by grinding old rags (I guess today this would be called recycling! This seems to be responsible in part for the term "shoddy" as in "shoddy workmanship". A TEAMER seems to be an occupation relating to driving or organising teams of horses. Monday, March 12, 2012.
