And each time I work, my technique improves a bit. Practice and all that. Instead of removing the eyelashes, I protected them from spray sealant with a bit of masking tape. Sunday, November 27, 2011. Fun with Strobist gels. I had some free time this weekend to play around with the Strobist gel collection. Meg was the subject of my experimentations. Some very nice effects can be created, especially if you can manage multiple light sources. Friday, November 25, 2011. Sewing for DD: bustier dress. My next sewing project is a cute fantasy school uniform for Mirielle. The bustier skirt is fully lined and has LOTS of ruffles, quite happy to have found a solid ruffling technique.
