August 2, 2015 - Ticonderoga. Next we drove into the historic downtown section of the town of Ticonderoga. First stop - a car show that was going on. The Lachute River that flows into Lake Champlain. November 15, 2014 - Last Soccer Game of the Season. This one was a home game, thank goodness. The girls doing some warm ups before the game. Callan trying to stop the ball. The game was another loss; they've lost every single game of the season. LOL. That's ok, its all about the snacks and hanging out, anyway. ha ha. Their coach giving them the "end of season" pep talk. August 17, 2015 - First Day of Fourth Grade. We discovered the first day of school that Callan had grown over the summer. All of a sudden her skirts and pants are too short for her! She's about in a size 7, now. She had to duct tape her back pack for the new school year. There she goes - dropping her off at the park for her walk to school. Links to this post. August 25, 2014 - Johns Hopkins. Callan received this certificate in the mail which is based on the SCAT she took last spring. In her case the high honors scores were in math. August 2, 2015 - Mt. Defiance. Sunday we took the ferry across Lake Champlain to the town of Ticonderoga (site of the historic fort) and drove to the top of Mt. Defiance. December 29, 2014 - Legoland. Back in March I purchased a discount voucher for Legoland, thinking, since we haven't visited the new park yet, we would go sometime during the year. The voucher expires the 31st - and so here it is the end of December and we still haven't had time to go. March 28, 2015 - Cards vs Detroit. Saturday we drove to Lakeland to see the Cardinals play the Detroit Tigers. This was our first time to this stadium, so we were curious to see how it was. It's newer and nice, similar to Houston's. We got there early to watch batting practice and warm ups. July 25, 2014 - Busy July. When we got back from vacation we had a green pool, a lot of weeds, and a ton of work to do on the rental properties.
