Mike Morrell asked me to contact you because he really appreciates your blog and thinks youd be an excellent candidate for his Speakeasy Blogger N...

Phil Wyman's Square No More. Saturday, May 10, 2014. Black Mass at Harvard. The Harvard Extension Cultural Studies Club is holding and promoting a Black Mass on Monday. The Catholic Church isn't exactly happy, but then we wouldn't expect them to join in as an ecumenical gathering for this event. The Boston Archdiocese responded on Facebook with this (and more):. The value of a gift is unconditional. Gifting does not contemplate a return or an exchange for something of equal value. Thursday, May 31. Today I played in a golf tournament to benefit Young Life. It was my first time out all season. I was happy to make a couple of birdies and 20 footers. (I hit some real duffs and embarrasing putts, too.) I won the long drive competetition for both the men and women. That was fun. I like winning stuff. My pride is spilling all over the blog page.) That photo above is me at 3.5 years, showing my I-think-I'm-so-fantastic face. Today at the tourney I played on a team with my Daddy and we ca...

Phil Wyman's Square No More. Saturday, August 16, 2014. Immediacy: Burning Man Ten Principles Devotional Post #10. Immediate experience is, in many ways, the most important touchstone of value in our culture. We seek to overcome barriers that stand between us and a recognition of our inner selves, the reality of those around us, participation in society, and contact with a natural world exceeding human powers. No idea can substitute for this experience. Now, and that Life. Is found in Christ. Brian Heasl...
