Life for the Downard's. Friday, August 22, 2008. Same Old Same Old. Well A little has happened since i last posted. We had to leave our dog at a kennel overnight. It was horrible, she was trembling. And all the dogs were barking at her. When we picked her up she had Shit all over her and all her toys. It was terrible, I don't. Know how you can leave your kids with anyone if it is that hard to leave me dog at a kennel. Other news- Tim and I celebrated. Monday, August 4, 2008. Another Day in our Life.

So he will start that in June and be licensed by the beginning of August. We are so excited for him to have a normal job most likely with benefits ( even more excited about insurance through an employer since last night they passed that dumb healthcare bill). The Whitehorn Family Happenings. Friday, August 7, 2009. So I absolutely love tomatoes and am a firm believer that they taste a lot better when they are home grown. Well we pulled our first tomatoes off of our tomato plants today. How exciting! By the end of the summer I may be sick of them (I doubt it but we shall see), but I am happy. This is the first thing we have ever planted and I am happy to say it was successful. Hooray for not having to pay money for worse tasting tomatoes at the store!

The Whitehorn Family Happenings. Sunday, April 25, 2010. Did the Easter Bunny come? I know it is a couple of weeks late, but Easter was a lot of fun. We decided to have a sleep over Easter weekend with Ike's family. We had people in and out all weekend(11 adults and 4 kids in total) and it was great fun! Where did all that snow come from? Well they made the best of it and had a great time putting it together and then tackling it to the ground, but not before I got a picture. Look at the toothy grin!
