Saturday, January 29, 2011. Here we are at the end of January. Things are going well. Our big news as of late was that we found out we are having a baby girl. We are all excited! Maddie and Bella were really hoping for a sister, and I know they'll be great with her. Poor Nathan will still be the lone boy, so good thing he has a great dad. Friday, February 25, 2011. A few scenes from the past 24 hours. Lori finally got to blow out her candles after relighting due to over exubertant 4 year olds. Maes being converted to the gospel of ice cream! It didn't take much convincing. Aunt Lori sharing some of her new children's books with her favorite little people. Maes trying to 'pants' his big brother. Olivier feeling a little under the weather from a cold and just before he asked Daddy to take him home to bed. Here is Kevin looking thoughtful.

What's Happening with the Hemmings. Saturday, January 12, 2013. The other day Nadia decided she wanted to dress Gwendolyn up. So she found a pair of wings and a crown and put them on her. Gwendolyn didn't mind the wings, but she wanted to play with the crown. And well, eat it. Then Maes decided he wanted to be a butterfly and so took the wings off of her. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Maddie and Bella and I went apple picking. I love doing that this time of year! There is nothing like yummy crispy apples right off the tree. Luckily we met another mom in our neighborhood with a boy in their class so we have started carpooling. It is wonderful! They are definitely smarty pants these days and I'm amazed at how fast they are growing up and how much they are learning. They are taking gymnastics and a music class as well so they are having fun.

Sunday, August 07, 2011. Scott and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary on July 16th. That sounds like a long time! I can't believe it. I hardly remember what life was like without Scott! We got married so young, that we basically grew up together and I am more grateful and in love with him everyday. What a good catch he is. Friday, July 01, 2011. My great friend Tamara came and took some pictures of the kids for Scott for Father's day. She did such a great job- especially considering the fact that Nathan did not want his picture taken, Maddie was crying because she stepped on something and hurt her foot, Bella was crying because the sun was in her eyes, and Nora was crying because she was tired and hungry. A great combo right? I was thrilled the Tamara got so many cute pictures. Love these kids. Posted by Scott and Katie.

What's Happening with the Hemmings. Wednesday, August 05, 2015. Nadia was lucky enough to spend her 9th birthday at her Grandma Jody's and Grandpa Wayne's house. She got to go with Grandpa and get a frosty. Apparently it was the "best birthday ever". Later we had a giant cookie and ice cream as well as presents.
