We went to Pumpkins on Parade, which is exactly what it sounds like. This is the best picture we could get all night. Dan, Rachel and Lexi. Sunday, December 9, 2012. I know you know, but. We had a handsome little devil! And he is a Dan look-alike, which I love. I'm finding this second one much easier than the first, thank goodness. I can put him to sleep easily, I can handle sleep deprivation better, thus far, and I generally feel less stress about having a newborn. Isn't it grand? Eli is #22 on my side and mom has helped with every. single. one. of. them. Thanks mom! And then of course there is Lexi. Lexi cracks me up!

I found the PERFECT chocolate chip cookie recipe that I have been searching for my whole life? It turns out the perfect cookie is harder to find then the perfect man. Modified slightly from the New York Times. 2 cups minus 2 tablespoons (8 1/2 ounces) cake flour. 1 2/3 cups (8 1/2 ounces) bread flour. 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder.
