A few details have already changed (window placement, mostly), and a few things need to be added (water heater, a/c unit, more detailed cabinetry diagrams), but they're too cool not to share. Zach and I...

New house, obx, oceanfront, 4wd. What would happen if you walked around the edge of your thinking and found there a shimmering winged unicorn? Would you ride him? What if you stood looking up at the night sky, and a tiny star flew down and settled comfortably in your palm? Would you caress it? What if you discovered that seemingly imaginary and amazing things were possible all along and quietly waiting for you to say hello? Would you believe in magic? OBX, NC, United States. Tooling Up: Attempts at a 50 year fence
http://tooling-up.blogspot.com/2014/12/attempts-at-50-year-fence.html
December 11, 2014. Attempts at a 50 year fence. Last year when we did our backyard renovation. I put a lot of energy (and cost) into the back fence. We are planning to espalier apple trees against the fence. The life limiting factor on a cedar fence is the posts.
