River Boy" - My Weblog. A weblog about the novel of Tim Bowler. When Jess comes back to the cottage, Dad and Grandpa have an argument because Dad wants that Grandpa takes a wheelchair to make his life easier and to reduce the worries about him in the family. The stubborn character of Grandpa doesn't want to accept that. My thoughts while reading:. Will it really be a second heart attack? I think yes, there'll be that second attack. The tension of this point of the story is really high because everyth...

The next few days it was hard for Jamie to accept the answer and he decides to go back home and Abby relates his decision, because she also thinks, that they are two different characters in two different parts of live and Jamie has to go home. Abby doesn’t will never go home. I think, this is the most important sentence, because the relation between Abby and Jamie is very good and Jamie will never forget this sentence and Abby.

River Boy" - My Weblog. A weblog about the novel of Tim Bowler. Chapter 3 - And what about the "River Boy"? After reading chapter 3, I asked myself what is actually about the title of the novel "River Boy". Until now, there was no "boy" mentioned in the book and I'm also very sure that the main actor of the novel is Jess, a girl. So what can I guess about a "River Boy"? So at my point of view, no one of the family never being at this river before could be the river boy, except grandpa. I also would concl...
