My Toy Box was My Treasure Island. My Toybox was my Treasure Island. My toy box was my treasure island. Man Friday was my friend. Adventure, hope, imagination. My freedom to pretend. My hero wore a cowboy hat. And shot an Indian Brave. I saved his life and killed that man. We wept beside his grave. My cassock was a cover up. Childhood was my crime. Original sin and old temptation. Drugs of guilt, down the line. My hero failed that moral fight. The bastard pulled a gun. Original sin, a sick salvation.
